ORIGINAL: Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Reading Police Chief David J. Clark have confirmed the investigation into an alleged killing in Reading.
At 12:38 a.m., Reading Police received a 911 call reporting that 49-year-old Andria Hanafin’s body had been discovered inside a Center Avenue residence by her husband. When police got on the site, they discovered the victim with an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased at the spot.
Ryan Hanafin, a 22-year-old male from the household, is currently missing. The 22-year-old male resident’s vehicle is likewise unaccounted for.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Reading Police, and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit attached to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office are all working on this open case.
Law enforcement is currently looking for Ryan Hanafin, who is thought to be driving a 2010 black Dodge Charger with the license plate 2PSY15. Ryan stands roughly 5 feet 10 inches tall.
Any member of the public who sees Ryan or the vehicle is asked not to approach and to immediately call 911.
