Hickory Chickens

I hear it’s about time for finding hickory chickens. I have never found a single one, but I’ll eat them happily if someone else finds some. They really are a delicacy. It’s so nice to have the hills and creeks right out our back door. We have several waterfalls right here close to see and a lot of places to just step on into the woods. I look forward to having meals outside too. You know a nice picnic or grill out. And my husband lol we a good fish fry so I imagine that we will be planning a few of those soon. Speaking of which- My father in law James Garrison just celebrated his 85th birthday on Saturday! His brothers and sisters celebrated with him by having a fish fry and joining together. One of my favorite things about this family is their love for each other. I always brag on their cooking abilities. I’m so ready for the warm weather and sunshine. I plan to get out and enjoy the spring season as much as possible. We live in such a pretty area. And the sunshine really is good for the soul. I hope y’all have a good week!
