Bonnie Lou Collins

Bonnie Lou Collins, of Manchester, Kentucky, was born on May 19, 1961, in Manchester. She was the daughter of the late William L. Lovins and Bertha Napier Lovins. Bonnie was united in marriage to Frank Collins, who preceded her in death. She departed this life on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 63 years, 10 months, and 11 days.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Tracy Smith and husband Shawn of Richmond, Kentucky; her son, Franklin Collins and wife Amber of Manchester; and her brother, Lonnie Lovins of Manchester. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Jacinda McQueen, Brittany Young, Madison Young, Albert Taylor, Wyatt Dyck, Trevor Collins, Kane Collins, Daxton Collins, and Kamber Collins, as well as three great-grandchildren: Bentley Young, Gracelynn Mercer, and Jackson Mercer. She will be dearly missed by a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by a grandson, Jaythan Collins; three great-grandchildren, Jerricho McQueen, Atlas McQueen, and Levi Sumner; and five siblings, Pauline Hayre, Dennis Lovins, Juanita Smith, Sharron Shirley, and Don Lovins.
The funeral service for Bonnie Lou Collins will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Mitchell and Bobby Stevens officiating.
The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon Saturday until the funeral hour of 1 pm at Bowling Funeral Home.
