Clay County Man Arrested for Firing Gun Toward Juveniles

Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson reported that a local man was arrested after allegedly firing a gun in the direction of two juveniles playing in a driveway.

According to authorities, Deputy Dustin Henson responded to a call on March 29, 2025, regarding a male suspect who had discharged a firearm from his residence on Crane Creek Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Henson spoke with the caller, a female witness, who stated that 54-year-old Timmy Madden had pointed a .22 LR Heritage pistol out of his door and fired four shots toward the juveniles.

The witness provided video evidence showing Madden firing his weapon twice in the direction of the children. After reviewing the footage, Deputy Henson made contact with Madden, who was taken into custody without incident.

Madden, a resident of Manchester, has been charged with first-degree wanton endangerment – discharge of a firearm. The investigation remains ongoing.
