A Kentucky man faces charges after police said he attacked two people living in another apartment unit for shutting off their Wi-Fi.
According to WDKY, authorities arrested 44-year-old Jonathan Gross of Somerset after he allegedly hit two people in the head with a baseball bat because they turned off their internet connection.
The report states Gross had also been using the Wi-Fi. Police said he went downstairs to the victims’ apartment and threatened to kill them if the internet was turned back on before he returned to his own apartment.
Authorities arrested Gross and charged him with the following, according to the report:
- Attempted murder
- Terroristic threatening
- Disorderly conduct
- Public intoxication
He is being held on a $1,000,000 cash bond.
