The Garrard County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 83-year-old Ernest “Bud” Flynn was found dead Monday morning.
Officials say they are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death, but at this time, they do not suspect foul play.
The sheriff’s office released the following statement:
“We extend our deepest condolences to the Flynn family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”

Authorities launched a search in Garrard County for a missing 83-year-old man who was last seen on Kelley Ridge Road Sunday afternoon.
According to Garrard County Emergency Management, Ernest “Bud” Flynn was spotted around 4 p.m. Sunday riding an orange Kubota tractor while hauling hay.
Officials said he was wearing a green button-up shirt and jeans.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
Kentucky State Police Post 7 and the Garrard County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in the search.
