LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Jefferson County voters will have three days of early voting ahead of Kentucky’s 2026 primary election.
In-person early voting will run from Thursday, May 14 through Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 24 locations across the county, according to the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office.
Registered voters may cast their ballot at any location, regardless of their assigned precinct.

Kentucky’s Primary Election Day is set for Tuesday, May 19, with polls open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voters can check their registration status online.
All voters must present a photo ID. Those without one may complete a Voter Affirmation Form and provide a Social Security card, food stamp ID, or another ID showing their name and photograph.
Voters who prefer to vote by mail can request an absentee ballot online through May 5 at 11:59 p.m.
