$44M development planned for Jeffersonville industrial park

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A $44 million development is planned at the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana, expected to bring hundreds of jobs to the area.

Communications Test Design Inc. plans to construct a 400,000-square-foot facility at the site, according to Louisville Business First. The new building would mark the company’s third facility within the business park.

The River Ridge Development Authority said the project is expected to create around 400 jobs in its initial phase.

Construction could begin later this year, with completion targeted for the end of 2027. The company is also considering a future expansion that could increase the facility’s size to 660,000 square feet.

CTDI, based in Pennsylvania, provides engineering, repair, and logistics services for the communications industry, including major telecom carriers and cable providers. The company already operates two facilities at River Ridge, supporting nearly 1,600 jobs.

Officials said the continued investment reflects confidence in the region’s workforce and infrastructure as the industrial park continues to expand.
