Police said she went outside to take out the trash with her daughter around 3:25 p.m. but did not return to their apartment.

Domingo Perez was last seen wearing a pink T-shirt, black pants and shoes, along with a gold necklace and bracelet. She is described as 4 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Her daughter is described as 1 foot, 5 inches tall, weighing 22 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Officials said at the time that there were no witnesses, and no information was available about a vehicle or direction of travel.
