KENTUCKY — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager in Garrard County, officials said.
The teen has been identified as 16-year-old Yanixel Garcia.
According to the county’s emergency management office, Garcia was last known to be in the 6000 block of Cartersville Road in Lancaster around 9 p.m. Saturday.
She was last seen wearing black cargo pants, a black T-shirt, and a tan hoodie. Officials said she was not wearing shoes or socks.
Authorities believe Garcia may have been trying to get a ride to Lexington.
