Woman Shot in Hand in Old Louisville, Police Investigating

LMPD said there are no known suspects at this time.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman was hospitalized after being shot in the hand in Old Louisville Thursday night.

According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded just before 10:00 p.m. to a reported shooting in the 300 block of East Oak Street.

When officers arrived, they found a woman with a gunshot wound to her hand.

Police provided first aid until EMS arrived and transported her to a hospital, where her injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.

LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading the investigation.
