Louisville Metro Police confirmed there is no threat to the public after officers investigated a reported “suspicious package” in downtown Louisville.
The LMPD Bomb Squad responded to the scene at PNC Tower on April 15, according to an official statement provided to The Courier Journal.
In a release, LMPD spokesperson Adams Sears said officers examined the situation and “determined the situation to be unfounded,” noting there was no evidence of any active threat.
“We appreciate the community’s patience and vigilance during this investigation,” Sears said.
