LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — Police are investigating after shots were fired during an attempted vehicle break-in Monday night in the Swan Pointe area.
According to Middletown Police, a person was sitting inside their vehicle when suspects approached and tried to open the door. When they realized someone was inside, one of the suspects fired a shot through the vehicle’s window before fleeing.
No injuries were reported.
Officers were already nearby assisting Louisville Metro Police with reports of a group attempting vehicle break-ins on a nearby street.
Middletown Police said they will increase patrols in the area and are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the department.
