Northern Kentucky bridge project to last over 6 months

BRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) — A bridge replacement project in Northern Kentucky will close part of Neave Milford Road for several months starting April 13.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the bridge on KY 539 over Willow Creek will be shut down to traffic as crews replace the deck and beams.

A posted detour will guide drivers along KY 22, KY 10, and KY 19, with message boards set up to notify motorists about the closure.

The bridge is expected to reopen on Aug. 11, with additional work continuing into the fall. Officials plan to complete the project by Nov. 1.

Frederick & May Construction Co. is managing the $1.5 million project.
