Hey Santa!

by By Melissa Garrison

Y’all! We only have a short time until Christmas is here! Do you have your shopping done? Almost done? Or haven’t even started yet.
Well, I’m a procrastinator, so I’m still shopping. But can we talk about the cost of it all? Because between that and groceries, Santa needs to bring me a winning lottery ticket! I’m kidding, kinda.
Kids wait for Christmas morning to see if they will get what they want. I hope they all do. I know, it’s just an exciting time. Don’t forget about Jesus, though. He’s worth celebrating, too! And I have a birthday on Christmas Day! 44 long years for me. I honestly don’t know where those years have gone. They have flown by. 44 Christmas’s for me. That’s a lot. And all have very special memories for me.
This year, I have a new grandbaby that will open gifts. He’s just little, so it doesn’t take much to excite him. I wish happiness for everyone this Christmas. I hope that your families can enjoy time together and slow down. It’s a significant season. Santa might as well buckle up and get ready! And I’ve been seeing a chance for snow this week. That should set the mood!
