Shaffer allegedly strikes grandma

On December 14th, 2024, at approximately 11:46 PM, Officer David Gibbs responded to a 911 hang-up call with screams heard in the background. Upon arrival, Officer Gibbs made contact with a female, who reported that her husband’s grandmother had been assaulted by her grandson, Joshua Shaffer. The victim was transported to AdventHealth for treatment of injuries, including a head wound and a broken wrist. A search of the property initially failed to locate Mr. Shaffer. 

However, on December 15th, Joshua Shaffer was found and placed under arrest by Deputy Dustin Henson.
