LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man has been indicted in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred nearly five years ago.

A Jefferson County grand jury returned an indictment against 30-year-old Antjuan D. Murphy, charging him with murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

The charges stem from a shooting on Sept. 10, 2020, in the 100 block of North 40th Street. According to LMPD, one adult man was killed, while a second man who was shot survived his injuries.

Murphy was formally indicted this week. Authorities have not yet released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Murphy is scheduled to be arraigned on March 30, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.
