Woman hospitalized after shooting in Louisville’s Southside neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — A woman was taken to the hospital following a shooting in Louisville’s Southside neighborhood early Sunday morning.

Louisville police said officers responded around 1:10 a.m. on Dec. 21 to the 100 block of Nolin Place, where they found a woman in her 50s suffering from a gunshot wound to her right arm. She was transported to UofL Hospital and is expected to recover.

The Louisville Metro Police Department’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the incident.
