Louisville Metro Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man died weeks after suffering unspecified injuries.
The man was taken to University Hospital on Nov. 4 after being found with traumatic injuries in the 100 block of W. Burnett Ave.
He died from those injuries on Nov. 17. After an autopsy, the medical examiner determined the injuries were the result of foul play.
LMPD did not release additional details about the cause of death.
Police said there are no known suspects at this time. Anyone with information is urged to call the anonymous tip line at (502) 574-LMPD (5673) or use the online Crime Tip Portal.
Investigators also ask anyone who was in the area and may have captured footage on their phone or surveillance cameras to contact Louisville Police.
The man’s identity has not been released.
