Over 800 pounds of meth were found hidden beneath the bed of a tractor-trailer transporting produce, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
DEA Galveston worked with the Houston Police Department during the seizure, according to a post made by the DEA’s Houston office.
Investigators claimed narcotics traffickers continue to use advanced hiding techniques to escape detection by law enforcement.
Authorities did not provide any other information regarding this seizure, such as where it occurred, who was arrested, or where the truck was headed.
The investigation continues.
