Federal agents detained a California tech CEO October 1, who’s accused of smuggling over $300 million in restricted AI chips into China.

Greg Lui, 38, also known as “Yiu Kong Lui,” of San Gabriel, is facing a slew of federal charges for allegedly selling a mountain of American-made AI graphics processors to Beijing in violation of US rules, posing a national security concern.
