A 55-year-old Missouri man was detained by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on Sept. 10 after Monroe County Sheriff’s Office SVU investigators obtained a felony warrant charging him with molestation of a minor.
According to the sheriff’s office, Thomas Hendricks, who presently resides in Missouri, is being hauled back to Monroe County to answer the charge.
In July, Hendricks was charged and appeared before a Monroe County grand jury. The inquiry began in April, when a young woman came forward to detectives, alleging that the abuse occurred when she was in her early teens and Hendricks was still residing in Monroe County.
The investigation is underway. Hendricks’ bond is set at $25,000.
