Despite the wet weather coming across Texas right now, there are four people across the state, including two in Houston, that are walking in the sun after winning scratch ticket prizes totaling $5 million from the Texas Lottery.
The two winners from the Houston area each received a $1 million reward. One winner brought a Mega Millionaire game from the Revolution store at 4800 East Wallisville Road in Baytown, while the other purchased a Premier Play game from Time Saver Food Mart at 4806 Spring Stuebner Road in Spring.
There was also a $1 million winner in San Antonio who played the Million Dollar Lottery. In North Texas, a Haltom City citizen won $2 million by playing Millionaire’s Club.
The lottery said that all four winners have elected to remain unidentified.
Each retailer who sells the winning tickets may be eligible for a $10,000 incentive through the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Incentive Program.
