A man was hospitalized after being shot in the leg Friday night in Leesburg, police said.
Leesburg police said officers responded to a shooting report around 10 p.m. on the 0 block of Fort Evans Road NE.
When authorities arrived, they discovered a man with a gunshot wound to his leg, according to police.
The man was rushed to the hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
Police have not given details about what caused the incident or whether investigators have identified a suspect.
