A man died and two others were rescued after falling into Lake Michigan at 31st Street Beach on Sunday.
At around 11:05 p.m., three guys were walking near the water in the 3100 block of Eriksen Drive.
A witness and members of the Chicago Fire Department assisted in pulling the three men from the water.
One was evacuated in serious condition and later died in the hospital. Another was carried in fair condition.
The other man declined medical treatment.
