“It is with deep sadness that we share the loss of Lanessa Bradford, a cherished member of the Melrose Elementary family.
Lanessa was a wonderful employee and an even more wonderful person. She cared deeply about our students and was committed to making sure every child felt supported, cared for and valued. Her kindness, compassion and dedication made a lasting difference in the lives of the students, families and colleagues who had the privilege of knowing her.
Our hearts are with Lanessa’s family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Melrose Elementary community during this incredibly difficult time. I CARE counselors will be available next week for students and staff who may need additional support as they process this loss.
Ms. Bradford will be deeply missed, but the care she showed for others and the impact she made on our students will remain a part of the Melrose Elementary family. We are grateful for the time she shared with us and for the many lives she touched.
