A man died after being shot many times in the head and body early Sunday, according to authorities.
Authorities said cops responded to reports of a shooting about 3:14 a.m. near the Belt Parkway and Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie.
Police said they discovered a 30-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his head and body. He was brought to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
The NYPD recognized him as John Garvin from Brooklyn. No other information was immediately provided.
