Unlicensed driver from Mexico apprehended after traffic stop at 7-Eleven

An unlicensed driver from Mexico was apprehended after being stopped at a 7-Eleven.

Around 4:50 p.m. Monday, a deputy arrived at the 7-Eleven at 2460 CR 48 in Bushnell to help with a traffic stop involving 31-year-old Daniel Gorrostieta Secundino, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

During the traffic inquiry, officers discovered Secundino did not have a valid driver’s license. He stated that he had never received a license in any state or country, according to the investigation.

Secundino was arrested on the charge of driving without a legal license. The Mexican native was arrested at the Sumter County Detention Center, and his bond was set at $500.
