Couple charged with multiple tax crimes
The couple was charged with six felony counts of failing to file individual income tax returns and six criminal counts of failing to pay individual income tax.
Officials say they owe $813,000 in tax penalties.

Between 2019 and 2024, the couple failed to file their individual tax filings. Scott Hill also failed to file taxes for his firm.
According to the criminal complaint, the Hills made many minor transactions into their company bank account to dodge financial reporting requirements. They would transfer the funds to their own accounts and spend them on personal purchases such as two Teslas and a Cadillac Escalade.
Tax felony convictions entail a maximum sentence of five years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
