A 63-year-old man was taken into custody on Tuesday night in Ogle County during a multi-agency drug investigation.
Harvey D. Haars, of Rochelle, faces charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) with intent to supply, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), and unlawful possession of a controlled substance (suboxone).
Around 7:30 p.m. on July 7, the Ogle County Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 900 block of N. Main Street in Rochelle. Authorities said the raid follows a multi-month narcotics investigation.
Members of the Ogle County Emergency Response Team, Stephenson County Emergency Response Team, and North-west Illinois Critical Incident Response Team were contacted for help.
Because of the search, Haars was arrested and brought to the Ogle County Jail.
