Four people have been apprehended after deputies say gunshots were fired from a black SUV going along various roads in Columbia County.
Deputies say Alexis Miller, 25, Mayer Burgess, 34, McKenzie McFerrin, 19, and Cody McKee, 25, were arrested in connection with the incident.
Deputies stated all four were charged with drive-by shooting.
According to investigators, one of the gunshots seemed to damage the roof of Jeff’s Sewing and Vacuum, which is located on the 3800 block of Washington Road.
A handgun was found from the scene, but no other damage or injuries were recorded.
Officials stated the suspects will be sent to the Columbia County Detention Center, where they will be held without bond.
Investigators said they are still recovering evidence and gathering more information.
