Connecticut State Police have charged a 14-year-old girl with alleged swatting incidents.

In March 2026, state police announced they were investigating swatting incidents in Killingly.

According to police, the investigation led them to a 14-year-old suspect.

Authorities charged the 14-year-old with first-degree false reporting of a large-scale emergency, second-degree breach of peace, and first-degree threat.

The suspect was summoned to the Juvenile Court.

There were no further details revealed.
