A teenage girl is dead, and two more people are in the hospital after a vehicle hit multiple pedestrians in Shively.
Shively Police responded to a call about a vehicle crash involving pedestrians in the 3900 block of Dixie Highway at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13.
Police determined that the vehicle had struck many pedestrians, including a teenage female who was pronounced deceased on the spot. EMS transported two additional teenagers to the hospital, and they are likely to survive.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
Officials say Dixie Highway will be closed between Park Road and Nobel Place for many hours while investigators work the area.
