Police in Toledo apprehended a man on Saturday morning after he allegedly shot and killed another man.
Deji Lee, 53, was arrested on June 13 for the death of John Smoot, 53, according to the Toledo Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Evesham shortly before 10 a.m. on Saturday. They discovered Smoot with at least one gunshot wound.
He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he eventually died.
Police obtained a description of the alleged shooter and his vehicle. Patrol officers discovered Lee at Nebraska and Victory and arrested him.
The motivation for the killing is unknown at this time.
Lee is scheduled to see a court on Monday.
