The Jamestown Police Department reported that two suspects were taken into custody on Saturday for animal cruelty.
Officers responded to a residence on Winsor Street at 3:20 p.m. after receiving a report of two puppy hitting a tiny puppy.
Following an inquiry, Arthur Hubbard, 36, and Cheyanne Alcorn, 22, were arrested and sent to the Jamestown City Jail.
Hubbard was kept pending arraignment for previous failures to appear, while Alcorn was released with an appearance ticket.
