Police searching for Phoenix woman wanted for murder in Maryland

Montgomery County police have charged two women, including the victim’s daughter, with first-degree murder in the killing of a 67-year-old Silver Spring woman, officials said.

On Tuesday, May 26, about 11:11 a.m., officers responded to the Charter House apartments in the 1300 block of Fenwick Lane for a welfare check. Hilde Henderson had died at the spot.

Henderson’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an examination revealed that her death was a homicide, according to police.

During the inquiry, authorities identified Henderson’s daughter, 29-year-old Vanessa Tjongarero-Henderson of Clarksburg, and her lover, 36-year-old Samantha Raebel of Phoenix, as suspects.

Investigators secured arrest warrants charging both women with first-degree murder. As of Thursday, investigators had not located the suspects and were appealing the public for assistance in finding them.
