A Lowe’s employee was apprehnded at work after it was suspected she had shoplifted and embezzled over $8,500 from the store.
Consuela Brown, 46, of 104 Wells Cove, was arrested and charged with embezzlement of more than $5,000, over $1,000, and stealing, according to Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons.
Brown was arrested on May 28 at about 5 p.m. at the Lowe’s, 1105 Central Drive..
According to Lyons, investigators believe Brown shoplifted and embezzled over $8,500 in cash and items.
She was put into the Leake County Detention Center and remains there.
