A Woodland man faces kidnapping and rape charges after deputies say he drove two women to a remote area in Cowlitz County and threatened them with a knife.
Investigators say the women left a Portland club on Thursday morning with Jacob Meyer, 33.
The women had called Uber for a ride home, but according to authorities, a friend recommended Meyer instead.
According to deputies, Meyer took them to Austin Point outside Woodland, refused to take them home, demanded sexual favors, threatened to murder them, and sexually abused one of the women.
The woman approached a passerby and requested assistance.
Deputies and Woodland police officers apprehended Meyer nearby.
He is now facing several counts, including kidnapping, rape, and felony harassment.
