Speeding nurse from Lady Lake apprehended on DUI while driving home

A Lady Lake nurse who was speeding was apprehended on a drunk driving charge while driving home from Orlando.

Alejandra Alezono Webb, 24, of The Quarters Apartments, was driving a dark-colored SUV shortly before midnight on Tuesday on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at County Road 466A when she was caught on radar traveling at 67 mph in a 50 mph zone, according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department.

During a traffic check, Alezono Webb stated that she had been visiting her parents in Orlando and was returning home. The officer noticed the “odor of alcoholic beverage” coming from her mouth.

Alezono Webb, who described her vocation as nurse, first denied an invitation to participate in field sobriety tests. When she learned the repercussions of failing to complete the exercises, she changed her mind and agreed to participate. She performed miserably. The native New Yorker gave breath samples with.80 and.75 blood alcohol levels.

She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and penalized for speeding. She was booked into Lake County Jail and released after posting a $1,000 bond.
