Man apprehended for suspected murder in Phoenix home

A 32-year-old man was apprehended for the alleged murder of a man whose body was discovered in a Phoenix residence late Thursday night, according to authorities.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, an early investigation indicates that the unidentified man died following a confrontation near 24th and Oak streets. Officers rushed to the home at 9 p.m. on Thursday after receiving “an unknown trouble call.”

Christopher Ebanks, the suspect, was identified, located, and jailed Friday after police collected evidence.

Police say no additional suspects are being considered in this instance.
