3 arrested following drug bust in North Carolina

Three people were detained following a drug investigation in Columbus County that resulted in the seizure of drugs, money, alcohol, and firearms, according to police.

The Fair Bluff Police Department stated Belinda A. Tyler, Randy L. Dossie, and Davon S. McRoy were detained on April 30 after officers searched a home on Center Street in Fair Bluff.

Tyler, 47, has been charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell or deliver Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substances, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of keeping or selling controlled substances, and possession with intent to sell alcohol without permits, according to police.

Tyler, according to authorities, is being held at the Columbus County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.

Dossie, 58, is charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, marijuana, Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substances, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling for keeping or selling controlled substances, and possession with intent to sell alcohol without a permit.

Police say Dossie is also being held on a $50,000 bond.

McRoy, 28, faces charges of possessing Schedule II controlled narcotics with the intent to sell or deliver them, as well as habitual offender status. Authorities say he is being held on a $150,000 bond.

“The Fair Bluff Police Department remains committed to tackling criminal activities in our community. Fair Bluff Police Chief Chris Chafin stated, “This operation is a direct result of our citizens’ continued support and vigilance.”
