The Nye County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a Tonopah business as part of an ongoing investigation.
Deputies examined the property at 484 Main Street and discovered around 78 grams of methamphetamine, 28 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and a stolen four-wheeler.
Authorities stated that the business owner, Chet Teel, was not present during the search. He was later apprehended at the business the next day.
The sheriff’s office stated that it is committed to removing illegal drugs from local communities and keeping residents safe.
The investigation is underway.
