The Boston Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding 13-year-old Mineidys Soto-Lugo of Dorchester, who was reported missing on May 1, 2026, after not returning home from school. On May 2, 2026, Soto-Lugo phoned a family member and indicated that she was safe and living with a friend but did not provide her whereabouts.
Soto-Lugo is described as a Hispanic female standing around 5 feet 2 inches tall, with a medium frame, brown eyes, and brown shoulder-length hair with a blonde streak worn in a ponytail. She was last spotted with dark blue sweatpants and a blue Nike Tech hoodie.
The Boston Police Department is aggressively searching for Mineidys Soto-Lugo and asks anyone with information about her location to call 911 or contact District B-3 Detectives at (617) 343-2309.
