Jackson County officials are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman with Alzheimer’s disease.
Sondra Anderson, according to Jackson County Emergency Management, was last seen along W. Christy Trail in Sapphire. Officials believe she may be disoriented or suffering from memory loss.
Anderson was last spotted with pants, a khaki blazer, and tennis shoes. Authorities suspect she is moving on foot, but her destination is unknown.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has issued an alert and is aiding with the search.
