22-year-old man killed in Park DuValle shooting, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 22-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday night in Louisville’s Park DuValle neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police responded around 9:30 p.m. to a reported shooting in the 1600 block of Louis Coleman Jr. Drive, according to department spokesperson Aaron Ellis.

When officers arrived, they found a man inside a home who had been shot to death, police said.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim Sunday as James Pendleton.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating the case and has not identified any suspects.
