Louisville (WAVE) — Police are investigating after a woman was shot multiple times in the Shawnee neighborhood.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call around 4:28 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, in the 100 block of South 39th Street.
At the scene, officers found a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported by EMS to UofL Hospital, where she is expected to survive.
Police said all individuals involved have been identified and accounted for.
The investigation is being led by LMPD’s Domestic Violence Unit.
