4 displaced, including child, after Parkland house fire

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A house fire in the Parkland neighborhood that displaced multiple people is under investigation.

Louisville Fire crews responded to the 2600 block of Virginia Avenue around 6:40 p.m.

Firefighters arrived within two minutes to find heavy flames coming from a home. Officials said the fire spread to a neighboring house.

Crews brought the fire under control within 45 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

However, officials said three adults, one child, and three dogs were displaced. The American Red Cross is assisting those affected.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
