A Pennsylvania man received a 20-year federal prison sentence after authorities said he used social media to communicate with a 14-year-old girl and traveled to Kentucky to pick her up.
Bailey Michael Stouter, 23, was sentenced on March 18, 2026, in federal court in the Western District of Kentucky. He faced charges of transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and online enticement of a juvenile, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The judge also ordered him to pay $3,000 in restitution and imposed a lifetime term of supervised release.
Prosecutors said Stouter met the minor through social media and arranged to pick her up from her home in Bullitt County, Kentucky, before driving her to Pennsylvania. Authorities reported that a missing person case was opened, and Stouter was later located with the girl in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania.
The FBI led the investigation with assistance from the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney Danielle M. Yannelli handled the prosecution.
Federal sentences do not include parole.
