LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police said a southern Indiana man is facing multiple charges after leading troopers on a short pursuit Saturday night.
Indiana State Police said the incident began around 9:15 p.m. on March 21 when a trooper tried to stop a speeding motorcycle on State Highway 62 in Corydon.
The driver, identified as 51-year-old Rickie Lee Chambers Jr. of Leavenworth, initially slowed down before accelerating again and continuing north onto State Road 135, triggering a brief chase.
Deputies with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department joined the pursuit, and officers safely boxed in the motorcycle to bring it to a stop.
