LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Law enforcement in Indiana is investigating a double shooting that occurred early Thursday morning in Floyd County.

According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to the 6700 block of Georgetown-Greenville Road in Greenville, Indiana, around 5:45 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found two men inside a residence with gunshot wounds. First responders confirmed both men died at the scene.

A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office identified the victims as 55-year-old Kelly Goode and 53-year-old Bradley Butler.

Deputies also took a man, later identified as 23-year-old Easton Goode, into custody. Authorities have since charged him with murder.

Law enforcement said they believe all parties involved have been accounted for and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
